The Beginning

So, this is my blog. I created it to share some stuff I've written and will write. The title is taken from two Greek words used in Matthew 5:13-14. The first is "halas", meaning "salt", and the second is "phos", meaning "light". These verses are a commission given by Jesus to His disciples to go out into the world and change it through their words and actions. That's what I want this blog to be: an outlet for me to be "salt and light." I hope you are encouraged by what you read here. Thanks for visiting!
